It’s an ironic fact not lost on investigative journalist Liane Clorfene Casten, author of Breast Cancer: Poisons, Profits and Prevention. In her book, Liane Clorfene-Casten charges that 70 percent of breast cancer may be due to environmental pollution, yet the EPA refuses to ban commercial toxic incinerators and the American Cancer Society focuses on treatment instead of prevention.
