Jim Hightower is one of America’s most popular populists. He’s an author, public speaker, radio host, former editor of the Texas Observer and former Texas agricultural commissioner. Hightower spoke last week in New York City at the event celebrating the 20th anniversary of Project Censored, a group which documents the most under reported, but critically important stories of the year. In this speech he talks about censorship of ideas and dissident voices by corporate media.
