The epidemic of mega media mergers is spreading. Last week, Time/Warner and Turner announced a 6.3 billion dollar merger, the largest and latest media merger to date. Some are worried the rash of mergers is concentrating too much power in fewer and fewer hands, a move that’s seen as profoundly anti-democratic.
