    On his 50th birthday this week, President Clinton went to tennessee to help rebuild a church burned down in the recent epidemic of church arsons sweeping the south. While some white churches have been burned, most have been rural black churches. Many of these crimes remain unsolved, however a number of those arrested are avowed white supremacists. This summer, quakers from Washington D.D. have organized a volunteer workcamp to rebuild several of the burned black churches. martha honey went to
