Report: Firm Linked to Trump Campaign Reached Out to Assange During Election for Help

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says he refused a request for help from a data firm linked to President Trump ahead of the 2016 presidential election. The Daily Beast is reporting that the head of Cambridge Analytica reached out to Assange about potentially working with WikiLeaks to release some of Hillary Clinton’s emails. Cambridge Analytica worked for Trump during the final months of the campaign. On Wednesday, Assange said he rejected the idea of working with the firm.
