Nigeria’s police chief has ordered the immediate deployment of all law enforcement resources to quell the ongoing protests against government corruption and police brutality. Demonstrations began over three weeks ago with calls to abolish the now dismantled Special Anti-Robbery Squad police unit. Dozens of protesters have since been killed by security forces.
