The devastating toll of the Jan. 12 earthquake in Haiti continues to mount. Most efforts to rescue people from the rubble have ended. More than 150,000 people have been buried, some in makeshift graves near the ruins of the homes where they died, but many in unmarked, mass graves at Titanyen, the site of massacres during previous dictatorships and coups.

Democracy Now! is looking for a detail oriented, computer savvy, super organized, and friendly individual to fill our Web Store Manager position. The Web Store Manager runs Democracy Now!‘s online store as a dynamic center for distributing content, generating revenue and building customer and donor loyalty. The Web Store Manager’s primary responsibilities are to process orders and donations, provide high quality customer service, maximize and monitor sales and donation activity, maintain inventory and develop new marketing strategies and merchandise.
Responsibilities:
Applicants should have a strong commitment to the mission of Democracy Now!, marketing or e-commerce experience, and a high level of attention to detail. Also required are strong written and verbal communication skills; graphic design experience; a high level of competency with computers including proficiency in Word, Excel, database applications and Photoshop. Experience updating web pages via CMS and managing physical inventory are beneficial.
