Democracy Now! is hiring a dynamic Ruby on Rails Developer to provide production support and work as part of a distributed team to improve upon existing web and mobile applications.
Qualifications
Familiarity with Democracy Now!, a commitment to open source software development, and the ability to work onsite at Democracy Now!’s NYC facility are highly preferred. Position begins immediately. We require a two-month minimum commitment, for 15-20 hours per week. Positions are based in our Manhattan office, located in the Chelsea neighborhood. Internships are unpaid, but academic credit can be arranged. For internships of two months or longer, a $15 expense allowance is provided on days you work five or more hours.
The Democracy Now! en Español Radio Station Outreach Intern works in the Spanish Outreach Department to support the work of staff and volunteers and to communicate with prospective stations who may be interested in broadcasting DN!es programming.
