Tamil Tiger Leader Killed; Sri Lanka Claims Victory in 25-Year Civil War

Sri Lanka’s quarter-century-long civil war is in its final throes, with the militant Tamil separatist group the Tamil Tigers, or the LTTE, almost completely defeated.
