Tuesday night’s primaries in Michigan were dominated by concern over the economy. Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country and one of the highest foreclosure rates. Over 200,000 Michigan residents have lost manufacturing jobs since the year 2000. And the latest union contracts with the big three automakers include major concessions.
