En Sri Lanka, hoy temprano un atentado suicida con bombas mató a un general militar de alto rango y a otras tres personas. El gobierno inmediatamente culpó al grupo rebelde Tigre Tamil. El general que falleció era el tercer oficial militar de más alto rango de Sri Lanka.
