Está en duda la confirmación del candidato a fiscal general por su postura sobre "el submarino"

Mientras el Senado se prepara para decidir sobre su nombramiento, crece la oposición al candidato a fiscal general Michael Mukasey después de que se volviera a negar a declarar al "submarino" como una práctica de tortura. Se especula con que la razón de Mukasey para negarse a decir que "el submarino" es ilegal es que eso podría dar pie a incriminar por responsabilidad penal o civil a muchos interrogadores militares y de la CIA-e, incluso, a la Casa Blanca.
