El opositor a la guerra Camilo Mejía es elegido para presidir la organización Veteranos de Irak Contra la Guerra, que alienta a las tropas de EE.UU. a que se nieguen a combatir

Miembros de Veteranos de Irak Contra la Guerra votaron el pasado fin de semana a favor de lanzar una campaña para animar a las tropas de EE.UU. a que se nieguen a combatir. Para reafirmar su argumento, la organización eligió al Sargento Camilo Mejía como presidente de su comité de directores. Mejía es el primer veterano de combate de EE.UU. que se negó públicamente a volver a ser desplegado en Irak. Es autor de un nuevo libro sobre su experiencia, "El camino de Ar Ramadi: la rebelión privada de Camilo Mejía" (The Road from Ar Ramadi: The Private Rebellion of Camilo Mejia).
