Estados Unidos mantendrá AFRICOM en Alemania

El Pentágono anunció que planea mantener la sede del Mando Regional para África, AFRICOM, en Alemania. Únicamente una nación africana, Liberia, se ofreció a albergar la sede. El viaje del Presidente Bush a África fue considerado por algunos como un intento de reforzar el apoyo a AFRICOM en el continente.
