Miles de personas se manifestaron en San Francisco para protestar en ocasión del recorrido de la antorcha olímpica y los Juegos Olímpicos de este año en Pekín. Protestas similares que condenan los abusos contra los derechos humanos por parte de China han intentado interrumpir el recorrido de la antorcha a lo largo de sus paradas previas en Atenas, Estambul, París y Londres. Hablamos con Minky Worden, de Human Rights Watch, que es la editora del nuevo libro “_China’s Great Leap: The Beijing Games and Olympian Human Rights Challenges_” (El Gran Salto de China: los juegos de Pekín y los retos olímpicos para los derechos humanos).
