Aime Cesaire, 1913-2008: Recordamos la vida y el legado del militante anti-colonial y poeta del orgullo negro

Aime Cesaire, el apreciado poeta, escritor, político y activista anti-colonial de Martinica, murió el jueves a los 94 años de edad. Cesaire es considerado en el mundo francófono como una de las principales figuras del movimiento por la conciencia y el orgullo negro, a lo que llamó ‘negritud’. Su uso de la cultura para luchar contra el colonialismo y el racismo ha influido a muchas generaciones de activistas y escritores en todo el mundo.
