Estados Unidos no acude a conferencia internacional para prohibir bombas de racimo

Representantes de más de 100 gobiernos se reúnen durante dos semanas en Dublín, Irlanda, con el objetivo de acordar un tratado global que prohiba el uso de bombas de racimo. Pero Estados Unidos –históricamente el mayor productor mundial, el que más reservas tiene y el principal usuario de bombas de racimo— no acudirá a las negociaciones. Otros importantes productores de bombas de racimo –Rusia, China, Israel, India y Pakistán– tampoco asistirán a la Conferencia.
