Más de 30.000 personas se reúnen en Los Ángeles este fin de semana para participar en BookExpo America, encuentro anual de tres días de duración de la industria editorial. Participan representantes de 80 países. Entre los grupos presentes se encuentra la Asociación de Libreros Estadounidenses (ABA, por sus siglas en inglés), la asociación nacional de libreros independientes.
