Tras una disputa interna en el Congreso Nacional Africano, Thabo Mbeki Mbeki renuncia a la presidencia de Sudáfrica

En Sudáfrica, el vicepresidente del Congreso Nacional Africano (ANC por sus siglas en inglés) fue designado presidente provisional tras la renuncia de Thabo Mbeiki. Mbeki renunció el domingo luego de ser acusado de haber interferido en un caso de corrupción contra su rival político y actual líder de la ANC, Jacob Zuma.
