Cambio de poder: jóvenes ecologistas llegan en masa a Washington D.C. para participar de un fin de semana de organización, presión y manifestaciones

En Washington, D.C. una gran manifestación ha sido convocada el lunes frente una planta alimentada por carbón; los organizadores afirman que será el mayor acto de desobediencia civil contra el calentamiento global. En los días previos a la manifestación, jóvenes ecologistas realizarán un evento llamado Power Shift 09 (Cambio de Poder 09). Miles de estudiantes activistas prevén presionar a los legisladores en Capitl Hill para que reconstruyan la economía mediante una política decidida orientada al clima y las energías limpias.
