El naturalista, aventurero y escritor Doug Peacock habla sobre la guerra de Vietnam, cómo los osos pardos le salvaron la vida, la naturaleza, su amistad con el desaparecido escritor Edward Abbey y otros temas. Uno de los personajes más famosos de Abbey, Hayduke, de su libro “La Banda de la Llave Inglesa" (The Monkey Wrench Gang), estaba inspirado en parte en Doug Peacock.
