Activistas de Greenpeace cuelgan un letrero en el Monte Rushmore

Activistas del grupo ecologista Greenpeace escalaron el miércoles el Monumento Nacional del Monte Rushmore y colgaron un letrero que instaba al presidente Obama a tomar medidas contra el calentamiento global. El letrero fue colgado junto a la cara de Abraham Lincoln esculpida en la montaña. Tenía el siguiente texto: “America honors leaders not politicians: Stop Global Warming” (EE.UU. honra a los líderes, no a los políticos: detengan el calentamiento global). Los once activistas de Greenpeace fueron arrestados y acusados de allanamiento. Cada uno de ellos se podría enfrentar a seis meses de prisión.
