El actual congresista demócrata por Utah, Jim Matheson, se enfrenta a un reto organizado por una coalición de progresistas que han puesto en marcha un proyecto llamado "The Citizens’ Candidate” (el candidato de los ciudadanos) para quitarle el escaño. Esta inciativa aprovecha Craigslist para encontrar aspirantes dispuestos a presentarse contra Matheson.
