Democracy Now! se encuentra en Argentina para participar de la décima conferencia de la Asociación Mundial de Radios Comunitarias, una cumbre anual de cientos de radios comunitarias de todo el mundo. Entre los asistentes está Prezado Ximenes, de Radio Lorico en Timor Oriental. Hace exactamente diecinueve años en la capital timorensa de Dili, Ximenes sobrevivió a la masacre de Santa Cruz, en la que soldados indonesios abatieron a tiros a más de 270 timorenses.
