Un tribunal de apelaciones resuelve que la ley DOMA discrimina a parejas del mismo sexo

En una decisión sin precedentes, un Tribunal de Apelaciones de segunda instancia revocó parte de la Ley de Defensa del Matrimonio (DOMA) y resolvió que el gobierno federal no puede negarle beneficios a parejas del mismo sexo en estados como Massachusetts, donde dichas parejas pueden casarse legalmente. Se espera que haya una apelación del fallo y se lo lleve ante la Corte Suprema. Hablamos con Marc Solomon, director nacional de la campaña "Freedom to Marry" (Libertad para casarse), una de las principales campañas destinadas a la anulación de la ley DOMA.
