Mientras tanto, un ataque aéreo del gobierno iraquí habría matado al menos a siete civiles y herido a otros doce doce en Tikrit, controlada por ISIS. Los residentes dicen que los helicópteros del ejército dispararon contra vehículos civiles que estaban en una gasolinera. El gobierno iraquí afirma que sólo mató insurgentes en el ataque.
