Amy Goodman joins the New York Press Club Foundation’s annual Journalism Conference for its plenary panel on “The Press and the 2016 Presidential Election.” Goodman will share an honest critique of how the press has been covering the presidential candidates of this campaign cycle.

New York Press Club bills its conference as “New York’s most affordable, accessible and informative gathering of journalists, journalism students, academics, and those in the know.”

Amy Goodman is the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!, a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 1,400 public television and radio stations worldwide. Goodman received the 2014 I.F. Stone Medal for Journalistic Independence Lifetime Achievement Award, and she is the first journalist to receive the Right Livelihood Award, widely known as the 'Alternative Nobel Prize' for “developing an innovative model of truly independent grassroots political journalism that brings to millions of people the alternative voices often excluded by the mainstream media.”
