Edward Said: Last Major Address 2003
On September 25, 2003, renowned scholar, activist, intellectual and Palestinian advocate, Professor Edward W. Said died at the age of 67 after a decade-long battle with leukemia. Said, a Palestinian-American, was known throughout the world as a leading thinker, and there are few fields of intellectual endeavor that have been untouched by his contributions. This is a record of his last major address given in Washington D.C. in June 2003.
