Howard Zinn, a professor emeritus of political science at Boston University and the author of 14 books, including ‘A People’s History of the United States,’ ‘Postwar America,’ and ‘You Can’t Be Neutral on a Moving Train.’ He spoke at the New School University in New York City in February 2003. He talks about bombs, terrorism, the anti-war movement and the Bush administration’s impending war on Iraq. “The most important message I want to convey is that you don’t depend on the authorities, the people in power to solve problems.”
