Noam Chomsky spoke at a forum sponsored by the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The forum was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Relations Center, of which Chomsky is a board member. We spend the hour hearing his address and discussion with Tariq Ali. He spoke about imperialism, the elections in Iraq and much more. A professor of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Chomsky is the author of “Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest For Global Dominance”, “9-11”, “Power and Terror” and dozens of other books. He is regarded as one of the leading dissidents and scholars in the United States.
