An extended interview with the legendary folk singer Pete Seeger. He remembers his late wife of nearly 70 years, Toshi, and sings songs including the civil rights anthem, “We Shall Overcome.” Seeger is joined by Oren Lyons, faithkeeper of the Onondoga Nation, for a discussion about indigenous rights on the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. Includes the post-show interview where Seeger and Lyons talk about fracking and the anniversary of the U.S. nuclear bombing of Hiroshima.
