155+ Killed and 50,000 Displaced in Sudan’s West Darfur as U.N. Troops Start to Withdraw

In Sudan, at least 155 people died and 50,000 people have been displaced in fighting in the Darfur region. This comes just weeks after the United Nations Security Council voted to pull peacekeeping troops from the U.N. and the African Union out of the area.
