Ecuador Prison Riot Claims 116 Lives

Ecuador has declared a state of emergency throughout its prison system, as the death toll from a deadly prison riot rose to 116. At least 80 other prisoners were injured after fighting broke out between rival gangs in the prison in Ecuador’s port city of Guayaquil.
