Journalist Jean Friedman-Rudovsky traveled to Ciudad Juarez to find out how children are coping with the staggering levels of violence in the region. Her article published by Village Voice media earlier this month is titled “Juarez’s children: Drugs, death, and fear.”

In this interview with Democracy Now! we speak with Jean about her visit to Ciudad Juarez and some of the stories she heard and discusses in her article.
