During this 2012 election season, Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman and Denis Moynihan are on a national speaking tour to mark the 16th anniversary of the daily, independent, global TV/Radio news hour and to launch their new book, The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope.

In the Seattle area, Democracy Now! is broadcast weekdays on KBCS 91.3-FM at 6am, 8am and 5pm, and on KYRS-LP 92.3 and 88.1 FM 8am and 5pm. Click here to view the complete list of the 1,100 stations that broadcast Democracy Now! weekdays.

Amy Goodman is the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!, a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 1,400 public television and radio stations worldwide.

The Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard honored Goodman with the 2014 I.F. Stone Medal for Journalistic Independence Lifetime Achievement Award....

Denis Moynihan

Denis Moynihan has worked with Democracy Now! since 2000. He is a bestselling author and a syndicated columnist with King Features. He lives in Colorado, where he founded community radio station KFFR 88.3 FM in the town of Winter Park.
