Redpath, a distinguished former trustee of the Adult School, in whose memory a fund has been established to provide an annual program highlighting his interest in language and communications.

Amy Goodman’s lecture is entitled, “The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope.”

Founded in 1933 as a beacon of hope during the Great Depression, The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School is a nonprofit, educational organization that offers a wide array of affordable, quality classes, lectures and trips. More than 160 courses and lectures are offered in the fall and spring, with a modified schedule in the summer. These courses enrich the mind, exercise the body and feed the soul. Choices include art, music, business and finance, fitness and recreation, languages and technology.
