Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman and Denis Moynihan will visit Toronto as part of their international speaking tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the acclaimed television and radio news program Democracy Now! and the extraordinary movements and heroes who have moved democracy forward.

Amy will be speaking in the Great Hall of the Hart House at University of Toronto. All proceeds will go to benefit CIUT Radio. Copies of Amy’s most recent book will also be for sale courtesy of A Different Booklist, a local, multicultural indie bookstore.

Doors will open at 5:30. After Amy speaks, she will be available to sign books and chat at a reception in the cafe/bar on the first floor of the Hart House. Admission to the event includes a complimentary drink for each attendee.
