    Pressure is mounting on Yugoslavia’s leader to resign. Five thousand people gathered in a northern Serbian town yesterday to demand that the government of President Slobodan Milosevic step down. Government supporters hurled eggs at opposition leaders, but police separated the two groups.

    Last week, Christopher Lee, the pioneering Asian American film producer and former head of production, gave a speech at the annual meeting of the Asian American Journalists Association, part of the Unity 99 Conference in Seattle. He is known for producing successful films such as the Oscar award-winning Philadelphia, The Fisher King, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Jerry Maguire, and the remake of Godzilla.
