Israel prometió tomar represalias luego de que combatientes hutíes de Yemen lanzaran el domingo un misil contra el centro de Israel. No se reportaron muertos ni heridos en el incidente. El primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, afirmó que tomará represalias.
