Democracy Now! co-host Juan González gives the opening address at a two-day conference on the 50th anniversary of the Columbia Student Strike which began on April 23, 1968. Juan was one of the leaders of the strike.

The event is hosted by Columbia University’s Rare Book & Manuscript Library, the Lehman Center for American History, and the History Department.
