HeadlineJul 05, 2006

In Denmark, a group of demonstrators marked the Fourth of July with a protest against the US prison at Guantanamo Bay.

  • Unidentified protester: “This is a protest against the Guantanamo base. Today we are all [wearing] orange. Today we are all prisoners of Guantanamo. This is a birthday card from Copenhagen, Denmark. And we want to tell America that they have to treat these people as humans. Give them a fair trial and close the Guantanamo base. Happy birthday!”
