But meanwhile, the Pentagon has admitted it may have been wrong in accusing Iranian boats of threatening U.S. warships. On Thursday, a Navy spokesperson told ABC News that an alleged audio threat might not have come from the Iranian patrol boats but from the shore or another ship passing by. Iran has denied all allegations of a confrontation and released its own video of the encounter.
