Study: Parts of Arctic Warming Seven Times Faster Than Rest of the Earth

New research shows temperatures in parts of the Arctic are warming at a rate seven times faster than the global average, according to the journal Scientific Reports. Parts of the Arctic are nearly 5 degrees warmer than a decade ago. The warming is expected to lead to more extreme weather in North America, Europe and Asia.
