HeadlineApr 13, 2023

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called Wednesday for an international response after video surfaced online appearing to show a Russian soldier beheading a Ukrainian prisoner of war.

President Volodymyr Zelensky: “There is something that no one in the world can ignore: how easily these beasts kill. This video of the execution of a Ukrainian POW, the world must see it. This is a video of Russia as it really is.”

A Kremlin spokesperson called the video “awful” but questioned its authenticity.
