The event celebrates Democracy Now!’s 21st year producing one of the country’s most popular daily TV/radio/internet news hours, as well as the publication of the paperback version of Amy Goodman’s latest New York Times bestseller, Democracy Now!: 20 Years Covering the Movements Making America. She wrote the book with her brother, journalist David Goodman, and Democracy Now! colleague Denis Moynihan, a Denver/Winter Park resident and founder of KFFR.
Goodman will deliver a keynote address followed by a book signing.

Following the talk there will be a book signing and after-party (free admission) next door at The Open Media Foundation, 700 Kalamath St, enter on 7th Ave between Santa Fe and Kalamath just around the corner from Su Teatro!
This event is being held during the First Friday Art Walk in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe http://www.artdistrictonsantafe.com/ Parking is very limited on First Friday, so consider public transportation. RTDs #1 bus stops at the nearest corner, and the Osage & 10th Ave light rail stop is 0.7 miles distant, about a 10-minute walk.
