HeadlineMay 19, 2020

The FBI says it found mobile phone evidence linking al-Qaeda to the deadly shooting at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, last December. An audio recording appears to show the group claiming responsibility for the attacks, according to FBI officials. The shooter, Saudi Air Force officer Mohammed Alshamrani, killed three sailors and wounded eight others on the base. He had been part of a U.S. Navy training program and was killed by law enforcement during the attack.
