Study Finds Hydroxychloroquine Does Not Protect Against Coronavirus Infection

An antimalarial drug touted by President Trump as a curative for COVID-19 has been found no better than a placebo at protecting people exposed to the coronavirus. That’s according to a study published by The New England Journal of Medicine — the largest and most scientifically rigorous study of the drug to date.
