Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward confirmed Bowers’s censure this week in a statement declaring him “no longer a Republican in good standing.” Kelli Ward is a former Arizona state senator. According to Politico, she and her husband are under investigation by the Justice Department after they joined an effort to deliver false slates of electors to Congress certifying Trump — and not Biden — the winner of the 2020 election in Arizona.
