Kabul Blast Near Foreign Ministry Kills at Least 5 People

In Afghanistan, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for an explosion that killed at least five people near the Foreign Ministry Wednesday. Dozens more were injured. It was the second major attack in Kabul since the start of 2023. After headlines, we’ll go to Afghanistan to speak with the Norwegian Refugee Council’s Jan Egeland.
