U.S. Marshals to Work with Yurok Tribe to Probe Missing & Murdered Indigenous Persons

The U.S. Marshals Service has launched a new initiative to investigate missing and murdered Indigenous persons. According to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, there are more than 4,200 unsolved cases of missing Native Americans. Under a new pilot program, the U.S. Marshals Service will team up with the Yurok Tribe in Northern California to help address the crisis.
