Trump said the deal could involve the media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan, the tech founder Michael Dell and Oracle’s Larry Ellison, a close Trump ally who briefly passed Elon Musk as the world’s richest man. China has not yet confirmed a deal has been reached.
